HOSPITALITY
PURPOSE
The purpose of this pastorate ministry is to provide a comprehensive plan for hospitality including: welcoming new-comers into the pastorate, acknowledging life milestones (anniversary, birthday, graduation), and to coordinate pastorate receptions and parish Sunday Socials. This group is open to all those in the pastorate.

Greeting Card Ministry

Home Visits
This ministry provides personal interaction and distribution of the Eucharist to those who are homebound, in nursing and rehabilitation care or hospitalized and consequently unable to join the pastorate community for Mass. Visits are scheduled at mutually agreed upon times between those involved.
Pastorate Picnic
This annual gathering brings our pastorate community together in one place to celebrate Mass and enjoy one another’s company while sharing in a pitch-in style meal. Volunteers are needed to assist in the panning, set-up, and tear down. Contact: Deb Wallpe at 765-414-2012 or email wallpdk@gmail.com

PASTORATE RECEPTIONS

This ministry provides hospitality in the way of food and beverage for the various functions within the pastorate. Volunteers are needed to assist in planning the pastorate wide receptions, coordinating the food and beverage, setting up, and cleaning up. This ministry also requires representatives from each parish to coordinate the individual parishes Sunday Coffee and Donuts.
Welcome Packets
This ministry provides new parishioners with information about the parish, ministries, pastorate, and surrounding area. It may be the first point of contact with a new family. Volunteers from each parish are needed to obtain and organize the necessary information within the packet.
